The Only University-Based Master of Divinity Program Serving South Florida's Diverse Theological Community

The challenge in South Florida is not that congregations lack vitality. Theologians in the academy are recognizing that our community has been underserved when it comes to accessible and quality theology programs for pastors, ministers, and leaders.
As a result, patterns of congregational isolation set in, accountability declines, and, perhaps most challenging, imagination shrinks.
Our vision for our partnership is to resource Christian congregations through sustained intercultural, interconfessional, and intergenerational engagement.

We see opportunities and possibilities for collaboration within our regional religious ecosystem. We know that needs vary by tradition, size, context, and capacity. We also know that collaboration can lead to greater economies of scale, increasing the sustainability of ministerial formation and theological education for our institution as well as our collaborators. We see possibilities to integrate our programs, faculty, and ministry and doctoral level students in ways that produce feedback loops that in turn lead to greater mutual flourishing.
